Meh... the lad's is what he is; a £7m footballer, 'young with potential'. You, more often than not, get what you pay for in that price bracket. What I will say tho' is that, at £7m, at least he wasn't expected to deliver miracles, unlike poor Charlie Adam who was absolutely crucified for not being world class.

Like all players he'll find his level eventually - at the moment his level is about right for £7m. You could argue that we over-paid for him [or 'over-valued' him, if you prefer] but maybe we got exactly the player you should expect for £7m...
