They'll have nothing to play for now after their result tonight, they're well and truly safe.

Pulis doesn't do holiday mode I don't think mate

Even on holiday I bet he wears that dirty ald cap.. Shouts at everyone.. Lobs his dinner long from the all inclusive buffet straight to his table..

Lets hope his 11 players do though. He despises us but if those players ease there mindset by being safe it'll be huge for us

Me too mate, I'm actually more worried about Palace than I should be because of that weird pr**k..

Great point you make about Chelsea having to come out at us at Anfield now though mate.

Fair point Bri.. I do hope his players mentally come off a touch

Let's just beat Norwich and then go from there

FT 2-2, get in there Sunderland, cracking result. 3 wins and a draw is now good enough as long as that draw is against the Chavs! Big result that.

With the goal difference Luke - 3 wins and a draw is good enough full stop. Unless the Chavs go ape-sh#t on the goal front.

      Guess who got over-excited  :f_doh:

Meaning me - if we lose to Chavs we can only get 9 points but you know what I mean....

      In short.......we need 10 points

One game at a time, Norwich next and hope Sunderland can do a job on the chavs, but F**k me this end of season is doing me in more than any when we've finished outside of top 4.

Horrible in a wonderful sense ain't it Daz

I just hope the players are more relaxed and less tense about it that I am

Yeh mate, doesn't help that I'm trying to stop myself from running away with myself thinking we will win the title as to save myself the disappointment if we don't, I'm having a constant fight with myself in my own head.   :couch:

I can't stand Pulis and his brand of 'football' but credit where it is due and he has done a great job there and I'm not looking forward to that game at all.

I wasn't expecting a draw tonight though and it's fantastic news and takes a little bit of the pressure of the lads.

      Yep

I nearly imagined what it would be like yesterday but stopped short of it

      Don't want to tempt fate

      All along I've been saying

Keep in it til the spurs game and we may be in it

Win the games in between and the City game will take care of itself

If we beat City  we may be in it

      Now it's..
Beat Norwich and we may be in it

It's exhausting mate but beats the sh*t out of some of our previous campaigns by some distance.

I still can't let myself go and think we are going to win it and actually probably still won't believe it when it happens.

Agreed - but you know what guys....I think we've just forgotten this is how it is.

All the pressure on us.....multiplied on the teams that need us to slip up.

One thing I will say though is we have been the best side in the league this season and fully deserve the title and I'd defy anyone to argue that.

      Even though many will.

Think it's clearly us mate. City are only real competition followed by a distant Everton in 3rd. Arsenal can't compete since they lost all pace with Walcott and Chelsea are a posh version of Stoke, can't stand watching them.

I'd be amazed if someone chose anyone other than us or City and after watching plenty of both I personally think we're miles ahead in terms of entertainment.

      Yep.

I'd understand if some see City as deserving winners but that's about it and I've even had mancs I know saying we have been the best side this season and deserve it if we do go on and win it.

That's a great result for us! But most importantly: We control our own destiny. Beat Norwich first.

We already did. All this means is we are more comfy in the lead. I hope losing 5 points in 2 matches does a number on Citys head. Chelsea are the ones we need to worry about, and they are playing us @ Anfield, so...i bet they are more worried than us
