Torres English wasn't that good with the Chelsea remark, he probably meant he always wants champions league so he wants to play for a team that is performing at that level. He did the right thing for his career,  he's won most things now. We should not take it so personally anymore.  If he could add something to the side we would need to think about that.

To be fair to Torres, he had been talking to FSG about their plans and ambitions for the club just before he made that remark. He was just dampening down expectations in the accepted FSG style mate.

Sorry Saint cant excuse him. To say what he said about the "big club" having left Liverpool for Chelsea!! Theres probably 5 clubs in the world can be mentioned in the same breath as us and they aint 1 not by a long shot. He might have been annoyed with owners but what about us? 2 fingers to us.

I would take him back but then again I tend to be the forgive and forget type. I've said lots of things that I wish I hadn't ever said so I can forgive someone not getting their point across right, especially in a second language.

That p#ssed me off and the "big club" comments but reflecting on things the last few days - especially reading Shanks etc - the bit that really, really grates on me is that he downed tools for so long.

He didn't chuck it on Woy or H&G or NESV /FSG - he chucked it on you and me and on his team-mates on too many Saturdays when we needed him. Carra says as much in his column in the Daily Fail (my wife told me!).
