Being allowed to stay up on wednesday night to watch sportsnight ,when the kop was really firing is one childhood memory that never fades ,truly fabulous player and lit up the place with that smile thanks for the memories ,

Before my time but seemed like a truly great player and was so committed to the shirt.

Cant believe its been that long.

He played 665 games, scoring 49 goals and won 4 Championships, 2 European cups, 2 UEFA cups, FA cup and a UEFA super in the famous red.

Another who was privileged to watch him play.

A true Anfield legend, Emlyn 'crazy horse' Hughes that infectious smile, the passion that oozed from his skin the never say die, win at all costs attitude a true epitome of a Liverpool player, sadly I never seen him play live,

A true gent and a wicked sense of humour,
