I hope the boss resists the temptation to play Jones, I can't really see the point. If Mig gets injured in a couple of months, will we really be any better off because Jones played in a game at Old Trafford in September? I don't think we will, we'll be in the sh!te whether or not he plays here so lets stick with our number one goalie and give HIM some more experience of playing for us.
I hope at the back we play our current best two centre halves (Toure and Sakho), and I'd go for Andre Wisdom who I continue to rate extremely highly, at right back. At left back I'd go for Enrique, he surely can't play as badly again as he did against Southampton at the weekend.
In midfield we are going to spend much of the game defending, so I'd go with Lucas and Gerrard. Gerrard obviously has to play whatever the circumstances as long as he is able to jog a bit, and here the game ought to suit Lucas despite his limitations. Much of what he is limited in won't be required here, and the stuff he is good at will, so he must play.
I'd actually sit Suarez into a withdrawn 10 role if Sturridge plays, obviously he'll go up top if not. If it is "not" for Sturridge, I'd leave Luis up there on his own and play Henderson, Alberto and Moses across the middle to make a 4-2-3-1. If Sturridge does play (and I think he will), I'd play 4-4-2 with Henderson right, Moses left and Suarez withdrawn into the 10 behind Sturridge.
It'll be a hard game this they'll be bang up for it, but I think if we pick the right team we might get home by the odd goal in three. I think Luis Suarez will be absolutely sensational.
