Poor Simon Mignolet doesn't deserve to have that many put past him this season. His shot stopping is terrific but it's constantly those in front of him the reason he isn't getting the acclaim he deserves.

It is, he's one of the best but his distribution of the ball and his Leadership abilities at the back leave a lot to be desired. This is our problem at the back. With both Carragher and Reina gone, we lack any kind of Leadership. Toure was touted as that Leadership but I've yet to see it displayed. There's no organiser, no defensive general any more and we look at sixes and sevens all the time, unable to clear our lines and vulnerable to crosses (which Mignolet never looks confident with). We mustn't get carried away. We can enjoy that one-man performance but the majority of rest of the team was insipid in their performance yet again and playing like that against Spurs, City or Chelsea will see us mid-table by Jan given how tight the league is this year.

Can't argue. Whack Aguero, Toure, Negredo and Nasri etc. against that defending and we're fu**ed.

We have no leaders but we have brute strength in Sakho and Skrtel. If you can't beat them, kill them.

Depressing, especially when one of them should have been ours!

First time i've had chance to comment since the final whistle on weds night..

For me that was the finest individual performance in a Red shirt by Luis Suarez..The guys is a genius !!

He would've scored all four of those goals against any defenders in the world...

I bet the Owl is shitting his pants.. ha ha ha !!

Thats all I want to say..

Probably still wanking over Diame's first half pass.

Rumour has it he's put Diame's head on all his Lucas posters.
