Why is he actually getting sacked? Is it because he stated that the owners need to back him in the winter transfer market? Or are they generally dissatisfied with the little progress he is thought to have made this season?
I'd imagine he didn't kiss the owners arse quite the way he wanted.

We MUST carry on where we left off last week and completely smash Cardiff all over the park..
Luis Suarez will get a deafening reception and so should all the lads as they kick off tomorrow as that performance last week is right up there with some of the best we've all seen as fans..
It's certainly given me that extra buzz, hope and confidence to match ANYONE in this League..

5-1 Tomorrow.. Oh well gotta give Mignolet something to do.. :D

      All the Best !!

May end up being a tricky game for us with all the drama going on a the club with a f**king clown of an owner.

The players are 100% behind their manager & will play for him & show a united front when they play us.

      Throw caution to the wind.

The new contract to Suarez should give a lift to our players too if there was need for one at all at this time :)

Cardiff fan here, I write a tactical preview of all our games and if anyone is interested in taking a look it's linked below. How accurate it's going to be with all the Tan goings-on today is anyone's guess...

My best guess is that it's a popularity thing. He wants to be the man that is adored (and he would be, if not for the red shirts and random sackings) but Malky is the fans favourite so he has to show everyone who really is boss.

In his Malaysian businesses, they have praise the leader days and songs that the staff sing about him. He thought he could buy a club and make it his own where thousands sing his name but it's not working out quite like that because UK football and SE Asian business are two very different things. Something he doesn't really know because he'd never watched a football match until a couple of years ago.

From what I can understand Mackay was given a £35m transfer budget to spend which included signing on fees, Mackay ended up spending around £33m on transfer fees alone which added up to around £50m'ish including signing on fees etc. Looking at the table and being only 4 points clear of 19th position after spending so much and the clubs around them spending so little, that one reason is understandable I guess. Another reason is because the owner told him no players would be signed in January yet Mackay came out and said he wants to sign 3 more players. Tan doesn't agree with the style of play that Mackay has them playing etc etc.

That would honestly be quality. If there were any City fans watching on TV or whatever then I'm sure they'd find the funny side to it too.

Am feeling more confident these days ahead of this kind of home game.
Expecting the same selection barring injury, and think the players will be focused and we'll get the 3 points we need ahead of the following 2 away games.

What better way to go in to this game having beaten one of your rivals 5-0 away from home, your star striker signing a new long-term contract and up at the top of the league table. Add to that the fact the opposition is in disarray between manager and owner. It's all set up for us to F**k it up!

We shouldn't be concern at all with what happened at Cardif, it's their internal turmoil that they should sort it out themselves. We should continue to play the way we did against Spurs and race to an early 3-0 lead to kill the game off.

Heard on the news that Tan is to have talks with Mackay and could be in charge when we play them.
