Whatever happened in the second half, we need to nip in the bud. Against much more worthy opponent with striking/striker options, the game could end in a draw.

I believe that was down to Cardiff playing their hearts out for their manager more than us letting go of the game. I can accept & respect that.

Isn't life just wonderful when Liverpool win?
Its like getting a BJ every weekend ; -)!

First half we were fantastic, Sterling and Henderson are really starting to look the part. Sakho is sure to be a regular starter now, he reminds me of a young Daniel Agger.
Skrtel has used up the last of his get out of jail free cards, referees will be wise to his holding now and will be watching, BR will have to speak with him about it.

Flanno has grabbed his opportunity with both hands, getting forward was thought to be his weakness, but he seems to be thriving as an attacking full back. The game changed after he went off.

Cardiff upped their game in the second half, not surprisingly, this is a better team than they've looked in recent games, ask City!

Its crazy that we still have Sturridge to come back! Good times.

Finally got to watch the match live today start to finish and what a treat, great work overall, a little complacent in the second half, hoping against better competition we wouldn't do that.

MOTM between Luis and Hendo for me, great performance by both. Wonder if it wouldn't hurt to put either Toure or Agger back in with Sakho?  Worried that Skrtel is going to cost us here one of these days.

Fantastic first half, second half was not as good which happened a lot at the beginning of the season which I thought we had learnt from. The players need it getting into their heads that the game is not won until the final whistle and going up 3 goals at half time doesn't mean the game is won, get out there in the second half and finish the game off so that the game is won.

One day it make cost us especially with the City and Chelsea game coming up, we could slaughter them the first half then go sloppy and not put the effort in thinking the game is won then they kill us off which Chelsea and City are quite well capable of doing that is what we need to be aware of and Brendan needs to get it across to them.

Negatives out of the way, it was still a good performance by the squad, Luis as always. 3 points, top of the league hopefully for Christmas, Luis making history, the lads confidence up for the City game and an entertaining performance showing we are capable of a title assault.

      Buzzing from it!

Anybody got any idea as to how long it's been since we've won four on the bounce in the League? Got to be going on 3-4 years now.

Didn't think back to our 2011 run! Always assumed the best we got there was three on the bounce.

What a run that was. Remember it well! Really set our season up. Ended on with a 2-2 draw against Bolton at the Reebok. Culminated in a brilliant 82 points and the FA Cup to boot with a relatively unremarkable team but as solid a unit as we've seen the past decade or so. Revolved around the class and sheer brilliance of Xabi Alonso and Steven Gerrard! Almost everyone performed to an adequate and competent level. Enjoyed that year greatly.

Second game of this season. ;)

We won the final two of last season and then won the first three this year.
