      Fixture List issue

      Why on earth do we have two away matches immediately after Christmas while City have had two home fixtures in the same period?

      Surely it should be one home and one away for every team, in fairness to all supporters?

      The fact that our two are particularly difficult is beside the point.

      Try and create a fixture list, and see just how difficult it is.

      We have two away games this week as half the league does. The other half has two home games.

      FA policy is that every club has a home game on either 26 December or 1 January. Ours this season is 1 January.

      We were fortunate to have a short trip and the longest preparation time for our last game and have an extra day to prepare for our next game than most others. And we have 3 of the next 4 at home. We might like to feel we're hard done by, but we're not in this case.

      We got to play away at some point, may as well be at the mid point of the season rather than the business end.

      I'm sure this wouldn't be an "Issue" if we were to have won both games or if both games were against weaker teams.
