if we give Alberto some time in today's game and he does better than hendo, hendo might find himself out the first team.

He's not been in the game that much.. and he may be planning on making changes anyway with the Everton game in mind.

Not the best first half we've played, but at least we've got the lead. Hope we come out with more urgency and put this to bed early second half. If we let them equalise things could get very messy.

When Coutinho got in the game we improved. Before that there was no options for Gerrard or our defence and we had to go long.

Glad to be ahead as usually we'd be losing in a game like this, just need to press on and get the second quickly.

For our sake, I hope Martinez is not watching.

Very poor....we look knackered

Fairly poor first half. Score line flatters us...

Suarez and Moses have been out best players.
We have defended quite well actually. But Kelly needs some help. It's always 2vs1 against him.

Our midfield is very poor. They have been totally anonymous apart from Moses.

Suarez and Moses are the only players looking half decent.

Jaysus we need something special to happen to turn this rut around we are on. Injuries, lack of motivation and poor form are traits we need to rule out if we are going to get 4th... Its ours to lose like!

Might be an idea to take either Sturridge or Suarez off and bring Sterling on . Sturridge has struggled getting up and down the line and we could do with one reasonably fresh striker against Everton.

Gerrard has struggled so far, Jones looks poor and Kelly looks half fit.

Moses and Henderson probably the best of a bad bunch.

Kelly and Cissokho bang average.  Kelly arguably worse - number of crosses allowed in from his side have been shocking.

It's debatable whether he actually has a brain. Jellyfish don't, and they are capable of producing movements.
