Not liking the overconfidence on this thread right now. This is where our weaknesses can come in, if we're too confident.

Sunderland are a decent side under Poyet, they play some good stuff.

Chill man, not need to be overly emotional. Is Poyet related to you or something???

I actually know him, he used to be my neighbour, but its not the point. The point is most people believe blindly what the media feeds them.
And i wasnt having a go at your personally, just pointing out that Red fans should know better than to believe whatever they read.

Anyway, I hope we put 6 past my ex-neighbour :) COYR!!!

Poyet saying Liverpool would only be a mid table team without Suarez !!! Pfft !! We'll show you mate !!!

Read that, just a bit of fighting talk and a truly ridiculous statement really when you look at Gerrard's and Sturridge's stats for the season. He also doesn't give the credit to the other person who has carried us so high this season and that is Brendan Rodgers, so instead of looking at the players as a difference Gus maybe recognise your position as an inferior manager, thanks.

Respectfully, the overconfidence in this thread should have no actual bearing on the match itself and how the players play ;D

If we feel overconfident, how do the players feel?

If you take their word for it, that's what I'd have to believe as well.

We are all typical "herd mentality" fans. I don't think our feelings and emotions are necessarily a barometer of what the players feel like.

Erring on the side of caution looking at 4-1. As long us we're up for this can't see any result other than a comfortable win.

Will be interesting to see the lineup.

      Coutinho or Sterling?

First game at home in a while, we are going to destroy these.

Reckon it'll be little Joe dropped and we'll go back to a midfield of Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho.

      Only one question....How many ?

                    Mignolet
      Flanno  Skrtle Sakho Johnson
               Hendo   Gerrard
      Sterling  Coutinho Suarez
                    Sturridge

Need as many goals as possible, might come in handy come May,

I can envisage a 4 goal feast at least might even see 6 or 7, either way black cats are in for a proper licking and we will all be purring later....MEOW!

I'd consider resting Stevie. One more yellow and he'll miss the Spurs game. I'd rather him be a guaranteed starter for that game.

Poyet also said recently the only way to stop Toure is to "shoot him".

Now, I'm not 100% certain, but I have a feeling that he wasn't really suggesting the premediated murder of a professional footballer from a rival team, so maybe just calm down a bit?

I'm not so sure, South American football can be crazy.  RIP Andrés Escobar.  I saw you having a go at another posters' spelling the other day, I'm guessing you meant premeditated with your post.  I love a bit of karma.

No he meant premediated...you know....the two parties arrive at an agreement about the details of said murder before they actually carry it out :lmao:

The players and staff won't have the same mindset as most of us here but it's a circle though.
The supporters are helping moral along with the manager putting in the most effort in building up their confidence.
We all know our attack is: the best, most dynamic and quick to dissect any team in front of them...
      That has been, ever.
Yes they are that good at the mo.
Fans are not being over confident or complacent, we have gradually realised how truly deadly our attack is and that the team has gradually improved all season.
We are at a point now were fans and players alike know the power we have going forward so it is a cycle. It calms them and us when we are down and we don't panic.
I'm sure there is a point in there somewhere lel.
      tl;dr? I predict a 7-2 scoreline.
