After El Classico last night barca are in the driving seat because of their better head to head record against Real.
This got me thinking is the head to head rule the better way of sorting out the tie break? On the pro side surely it's better that the record against teams around you counts more than how many goals you can put past the also rans? Of course on the negative side Barca can shut up shop and can win games 1-0 and will win the league regardless of how many goal Real score. Which if applied in the prem would suit Maureen down to the ground. Would head to head work in the prem or is it an if it ain't broke situation?
