Man Utd v Man City. So who do you want to win???
      Mar 24, 2014 08:31:22 pm
Just wondering as I was chatting with some Liverpool fans yesterday who were adimant they wanted city to win ???now I no it goes against the grain wanting utd THEM to win, but, surely in our position with city having games in hand it's to our advantage if utd win.

Scum win, clearly. Though I can't really see it happening unless City have a shocker.

Citeh. For all their trials and tribulations this season I don't trust the Mancs not to go on a run now that probably gets them Europa League and might, just might get them CL if the Gooners continue to implode.
Gollum looks like he's been lucked into playing Mata in his best position without having to risk fan reaction for dropping Van Pussy.
It appears that regardless of results he's not going to lose his job any time soon so far better that they continue the downward spiral.
The Bitters can do us the favour against Citeh!!!

United winning helps us, doesn't help them in any form or fashion so I hope they win. I won't be "rooting" for any of their players, but I hope we get the result that helps US.

Win or a draw for manure could work for us so either one will do.

I think this is the first time in my life I'll be mockingly cheering the skanks on. Feels fvcking dirty thought, hot shower and a scrub afterwards.

They need all the help they can get.

ManUtd 2-1 would be ideal. Yaya red card, Rooney red card, Silva out for the season.

But don't see it happening. City are way too good for the shithouses. Probably end up 5-0.

I actually have a funny feeling that this could be a Utd win, which would help us. City are fairly wobbly away from home, plus Utd have come into a tiny bit of form plus it's a derby game so anything can happen.

Not bothered who wins but we could really do with City dropping points.  Do I think scumchester are capable of beating the moneybags team, no, do I think they could draw with them, yes, are they capable of actually winning, possibly.

The way this season has gone I can see a city thrashing as just as likely as a scrappy 1-0 for the scum.

Personally I couldn't care less, my only focus is on us winning tomorrow.

It's Moyes. In games where he has to win, he almost always .....doesn't.

Not saying he has to win this, but any time we've needed a result from his Everton, they've failed F***ing miserably.

Hahaha the munts will go into this buoyed up by their inevitable, tedious rolling over of the none starters at West Ham, they will get F***ing shredded. Vincent Kompany returns for Citeh to aid the route.
We are masters of our own destiny with the game in hand over Citeh.

We have no games in hand over them. They have 2 games in hand over us.

If City win both of those games and we win our games until that point then they will be 4 points ahead of us meaning we'd have to beat them, win our remaining games and hope they slip up at some point.

Getting the Chelsea fixtures confused - of course Citeh are in the ascendancy, we do need both to drop points with Chelsea looking the more likely of the two irrespective of the remaining opposition.

True enough Brian, at the back of all our minds that dread exists - wishing the munts to win. In spite of the fact very little suggests they have a hope in hell.
They can F**k about in the Europa all season and win what they are destined to this season - F**k hall.

Spare a thought for those part time Man Utd fans who would quite happily see their team lose tonight just to stop us from possibly taking the incentive. Imagine that - wanting your team to lose? I remember we played Chelsea 4 years ago and we were in a similar position but I can't say the desire to see us LOSE was apparent at all. It certainly was not on the same level as those low life scum.

City need to drop a few points,a yernited win would certainly help us,and it would really piss there fans off if it helped us win the title,no cheering, but a utd win here is what's required, over to you shrek, time to earn that 300k a week, and help us out a little :)

Would a draw still help us? If so, assuming City get 4 points from the two matches we have in hand, that'll put them 2 points ahead of us -- meaning we'd have to win out to nip them to the title by a point.

That's exactly right mate.  We only need them to draw any of their other games apart from when they play us.

Spare a thought for those part time Man Utd fans

Doesn't that cover all the manure fans?

Anyways, a citeh loss would be great, can't even consider saying it the other way ;)

Hmm. That's going to be tough to do. 8 cup finals. This league won't be decided until the last 2 matches and I'm going to be a basket case the whole way ;D

I hope it's a feisty affair, with Red cards, injuries and it ends up a draw. If anyone has to win, let it be the scumbags.

Right, now going to have a shower and drink a bottle of mouthwash, as I feel dirty having  typed the above.  >:(

Funny enough, I was never bothered about us being in for the title until the last few weeks. Even if we finish 2nd or 3rd, it's still higher than I expected us to be. Just getting back into the Champions League has been a very long time coming. That said, we're so F***ing close to the title! it would be semi disappointing if we fall just short.

No, no, I don't think I'm special. My mother always said I'm not special.

You're right of course it would be a slight disappointment but I'm not concerning myself with that possibility because I'm confident we will.

There is a confidence in the squad, the players are confident in each other and in Brendan.  I've seen some amazing Liverpool teams winning everything before them in the past but I've never seen us so clinical in the way we play.  It's quite stunning in its simplicity and a joy to behold.

Jeez mate - you're not Norman Bates are you?  ;D

Not that I'm saying that's a bad thing, necessarily like....sh#t I've done it again....

But seriously I'm taking the tack that it's gonna be mental between now and May. I intend to avoid criticising any defending as long as we win and hope that works out!

This is true. Even when we went behind to Cardiff twice, I was completely calm because I knew we had the talent to run them ragged.

This has to be a first:

United fans want United to lose.
Liverpool fans want United to win.

Is hell freezing over as we speak?

There seems to be a joy and freedom in the players as well.

They look as though they are genuinely enjoying themselves, and nothing seems to faze them at the moment.

I can't bring myself to hope that utd win, so I'm hoping for a draw tonight  :f_tongueincheek:

Oh yeah. I'll gladly take 5-3 winning scorelines for all 8 remaining matches.

They are enjoying it mate but who wouldn't, playing like we are.

I'm hoping for a City loss but a draw would do  ;)

United already one down. Was very nearly two, but for De Gea's excellent save
