Luis got some slagging off for going down to easily but what about City's little fella going over the top on Flanno and then jumping up like a leaping salmon looking for a penalty and not a single word said.

I've noticed a growing clamour to pick on Luis 'diving' in the media and it'll only get worse.

If he was the only player doing it I'd understand but he isn't. Not by a long way.

Id rather be a 'nice guy' and LFC anthems and support my team rather than intimidate the opposition side.

      Nice guys finish last.

Serious though, I'm scared he's going to get sent off if he times one of them wrong.

These things can be scary but I'd rather he kept doing what he's doing than back out of the challenge.  That's not his game and I wouldn't want anyone to try changing it.  It's not like he's especially rash with them like a young Stevie G was.

I'm sure he will get sent off at some stage of his career, it's the nature of the beast but unless it's against a real tough team I'm sure the rest will overcome any disadvantage it gives us.

Yeah I'm sure of that too, I was more worried about the next 4 games than the rest of his carter though

You're right though, I wouldn't ask him to change but I'm scared nonetheless.

Well, once they got back to 2-2 I thought we had once again bottled it like we usually do against them these days whenever we have the lead and thought Silva had put them 3-2 up! We were comfortable until they put on one of their worst players, can't believe we were getting ripped apart by James F***ing Milner!!

We showed real character though, we didn't let our heads drop and when the chance came about again, we snatched it with both hands! That first half we battered them and could easily have been more than 2-0 up going into the break! Couldn't fault any of our lads, especially Sterling!! Can tell he's been playing alongside Suarez, taking the piss out of defenders and keeper to score a good goal! Even a goal line clearance from the lad!! There was one point he skinned about 4 players an absolute treat, shame the shot that followed wasn't good but never mind.

Can't believe they were moaning about the Skrtel handball when Kompany wrestled Suarez to the ground right in front of the ref! We made the leagues best defender look like he belongs in the lower division, we ripped Kompany to pieces and he was all over the place!

That was a performance of Champions and the passion from Gerrard was incredible!

The only negative thing about Rodgers I have is that he put Moses on, why Moses?! He should have put on Lucas or Agger to help sure things up. Other than that...7 points clear!!

       .

I didn't go yesterday but I thought the game was a brilliant one. Also thought city's fans were superb, joining in you'll never walk alone and bringing banners to honour the 96 and the occasion itself.

I was then disappointed to see the KOP then boo/whistle their players when in possession, it would have been much better just singing fields of anfield road over and over etc.

yes the city fans were great in the minute silence respcting the 96 ( not like the plastic chavs   who kept singing during the minute silence in thier game)
the whistling during the game was not showing disrespect to them, as when  cheering a city shot that  went wide
       I heard no booing
and when Yaya Toure went off injured , all the stadium  reds included showed thier respect with clapping the city player

I think the youngsters have injected energy and enthusiasm into the side.
Obviously there has to be talent there as well to warrant their inclusion in the side,
but they've been absolutely fearless. No expectation. Not weighed down from years
of being there before and losing. They're just in the moment and loving every minute.

Just about held my ar*e together for that last 20 minutes.

Played a get out of jail card in the second half in the game , immense win under pressure

BUT - the pressure will only increase now, and we need the players to play with cool heads
