EFC: Howard, Baines, Stones, Jagielka (c), Alcaraz, Coleman, McCarthy, Osman, Barkley, Naismith, Lukaku.

MCFC: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany (c), Demichelis, Clichy, Garcia, Toure, Milner, Nasri, Dzeko, Aguero.

Strange Everton team that but good to see Silva and Fernandinho both only making the bench.

Yea, looks like 5 across the back? And McCarthy in front. Pretty defensive looking, unless the fullbacks can get forward. F**k sake now Lukaku, you're due a goal mate (yes, he's my mate now :) )

To be fair Baines and Coleman are as good at going forward as any in the league.

Can see Lukaku being fired up for this, he'll want to give Chelsea a chance of still winning the league.

I'd say Lukaku cares as much about Chelsea as most of us do right now.

Interesting from them to go three at the back with wing backs but might see them get a lot of joy in the wide areas against City.

Totally agree. Interesting how people often view 5 at the back as a defensive set-up, I personally think, like you, that it's more to exploit the width. When you've got 2 of the best wing/full-backs in the league not a bad thing to put the most emphasis on them.

Said it a long time ago and sticking to it that I believe Everton can and will beat City today, here's hoping at least.

Don't mind that formation especially against City.

Naithsmith tucked behind Lukaku and Baines/Coleman whipping them in. Come on lads.

      OH EVERTON WE LOVE YOU!*

*maybe. See how they go first.

Might not be bad idea. City with the 2 up top, Aguero/Dzeko, plus Stones is relatively inexperienced and Jagielka is only back. Gives a bit more solidity in the centre. Only thing is might leave City with a lot of possession and Everton might not spend too much time in the City top 1/3. Unless the wing back get forward but reckon Nasri and Milner will keep them pinned back. City will be going for it.
Looks more like he's setup to be solid and possibly nick one. Which looking at it now seems fair enough, and might work - but the experts will all be out later with hindsight. Cmon Everton!!!!!!!! :)

Would be a fitting tribute this year for Everton to have a hand in Liverpool winning the title.

Both fans could celebrate on the streets together....

I still don't think bitters will give everything, simply because winning or losing doesn't hurt them either way. Let's just hope for shitty buckling under the pressure here.

All it took for me to not despise Everton was them getting a respectable manager, I never loathed them when Howard Kendall was there, we all have friends and family who support them and after the speech Roberto Martinez gave at Anfield my respect is very high for the guy.
Moyes stank up the league and my opinion of Everton.
anyway.... come on Everton make my cousin and uncle happy!! (only two people in a family of 40+ who support  Everton)
