So when is the victory parade?

I need to check whether I can get time off. There'll be nothing greater than seeing Stevie G and co waving that premier league trophy about. Will it be on Monday?

If it happens. It will start in church street, with300 reds fans drunk to the hilt, doing the conga lineclimbing on then statues of John Moore again. Just like Istanbul...if only the miracle repeats itself.

300 in Church St?? there'd be 3,000 in the queue to climb on the John Moores statue alone.

If we win again , then it would be a second miracle ( miracle on L4th street to coin a phrase )

And if so, my application to the Vatican to confer instant sainthood on Stevie G is going straight in . 2 miracles pope ? I'll give you this one and Istanbul.

St Steven of Huyton . Let the feasting begin !!!

The fact that jobs for the parade were being advertised after the city game was a joke imo. Gives off the wrong message as if we were being arrogant.

Unfortunately those things have to be planned, seen similar from whatever the council area is around Chelsea for if they were to win the league or European Cup.

      It's not arrogance.
The sheer scale of something like that takes months of organising.

It's the heartache of modern sports.
We probably had to have a replica of the trophy at Anfield.

Months? I am sure plans can be kept confidential it wasn't so much the fact jobs were being advertised as i get that obviously they needed to be filled somehow. But i saw shirts of league champions etc being worn by fans etc and it just didn't seem right so early on.

Furthermore it would make more sense for agencies to privately advertise the jobs for such an event instead of it being public, to save the embarrassment.

Yeah we did, but not until the last day i don't think, not after the city game.
