Nervous about this, not for the game itself but as it marks the end of our season and i know it shouldn't but if we don't win the tittle its going to shatter me, i will be proud nevertheless but i know whatever the outcome tomorrow champions or not, there will be tears.

Come on redmen send us off on a high!

Talking to my dad tonight about what a season its been and how it looks like we're back where we belong fighting for the league. I couldn't be prouder of the team and if we don't lift the trophy tomorrow then like I've said many times I fully believe it wont be long until we do lift it.

My dad asked me this and even the thought of it makes me nervous and heart race. Can you imagine a situation of where we've beaten Newcastle, the ref has blown we've done all we can and news comes through west ham are 1-0 up but 5 minutes extra time have been added. I would probably pass out from nerves.

hello again   new to this so bear with me please.  the missus cant wait for the season to end as she has some boss all inclusive holidays to peruse over.managed to get to turkey on one last week.she didnt know i had wedged it in between the chelsea and newcastle game though.          wont even mention the palace game which i watched in a bar with headbanging rap music going on and no commentary at all...finished at 12 o clock over there and i ended up in a all night bar till 6 in the morning...still havent got over that.    the match i mean not the hangover.   anyway besides the hols to look forward to i really dont know what im going to do until the preseasons start off..one good thing my best mate a blue may start going for a pint again with me soon.   as he hasnt rang me since christmas   for bitter reasons obviously   i will let him know that im still alive   ish.been going to the match since the late 50s and was a surviver from the old boys pen.  was even on the escape commitee before i was 11..being an arl rse then you would presume i have seen it all.  true..but somehow as one gets older the emmotions for liverpool football club seem to get even stronger. even feel like crying now and me being an ard case from the boys pen as well...tried it all.   golf. boring and full of cheats..even recently hot yoga ffs.but no nothing works like the rush you get whenever liverpool score a goal and the tension after or before a game is really getting to me.this season has emphasised that more than ever.does anyone want it to end.couldnt we have a playoff or something like that..penalty shoot out.   nah maybe not..still not over yet .    please dont mention that ucking fat lady whoever she is.but hopefully my joining the forum at such a late stage will bring us some luck.who knows.have a good day tmorr  lads regardless of the outcome.life is short and we must all enjoy it while we can.   ynwa..

      Welcome 'ard fella.   :gt-happyup:

Whatever the results, I'm very proud of the lads. Talking of city being a club with manufactured success, they'll most probably be involved with a dogfight with WBA and Sunderland if their squad have not been assembled from the oil money.

With the quality of the squad we have, I can't and will not ask for anything more from the lads and BR.

Sterling, not even reaching 25, the same goes for Flanno were thrown into the deep end of the dungeon and they have survived and did not dissapoint us at all.

I hope that FSG can see that we need reinforcement next season to push for the title. Sterling and Flanno are the future while other areas need reinforcement and we need some real upgrade quality of players in replacement of some in the squad.

Hope we can end the season with a bang and wollope barcodes out of frustration.

Well done BR and the lads.

Not quite. The league season will be over then. Our next game is on Wednesday.

We played Newcastle at home on the last day in 2004. Michael Owen scored GH's final goal in charge in a tepid 1-1 draw. Today won't be tepid, and 1-1 won't do. We just win our game and let the football gods decide what it means at the end of the day.

Anyone catch the little Kevin Nolan interview on Sky just now? Tell you what, you can see how much he loves Liverpool FC. He'd love to score today

That's not wishful thinking, just watch it if you get the chance.

Nerves are starting to jangle here. If we lose out, I'm not going to feel content and happy and be all philosophical about it, I know I'm going to feel absolutely gutted that we didn't win it. Then, when the dust settles and that realisation sinks in at around 7pm, then it will hit me; the fact we came so close - that is when I'll feel content and happy.

That's how it will pan out for me
