      Off topic a bit

People who wanted Rojo as the primary LB target, one of the reasons why not every transfer is as easy as it looks.. especially those from Portugal

I'd say Ibe is actually the fastest in our team. It's a good discussion to be happening really.

Would love to see a race between Sterling, Ibe and Markovic.

Have got no idea who would win! Throw in Sturridge and we have got a LOT of pace in the side now.

Sterling doesn't use all his pace as often as people think.

Ohh that'd be a tight one. Given their physiques, you'd have to favour Ibe and Sterling over Markovic in a straight up sprint. They are better built than him in that respect and seem more powerful. With the ball at their feet performing a drill around several cones, well, Markovic looks quite agile to me.

Good observation. It's there you realise he's very selective and doesn't just think 'Must run, run, run and do more running' like those one trick ponies Shaun Wright Phillips and Aaron Lennon. Technically and tactically he is quite something. The way he comes deep for the ball to get things rolling is something we'll see a lot this season. Providing he stays fit, it's going to be one hell of a season from him!

      Ok back on topic/Alberto Moreno!

      You racist b***ard  >:D

Personally, I think Studge is the fastest top speed runner we have in the side.  I think Coutinho, Sterling, Ibe, and Markovic all have incredible acceleration, balance, and agility that allows them to have a great change of pace which is perhaps a more important characteristic than being able to hit a high top speed.  That isn't to say that Studge doesn't have a good change of pace.

On topic.... I've seen nothing of Moreno, but if he is as fast as the others mentioned above then we are going to have one of the fastest teams in Europe!

We must have the fastest team in the league now. There were always these random statistics about how Rooney is the fastest recorded football player but we all know that's bollocks!

I've seen youtube clips of Moreno and he is quick. Seems to hug that touchline a lot which makes me think he may have been a winger once upon a time. Very fast and agile and seems hardworking. Everything BR wants in a Liverpool player.

Hope he settles in well. Are there any Spanish speaking players left at the club now?

Taking their bleeding time aren't they?

Can't wait to see the two Spaniards fully up to speed (pardon the pun) with tactics & team mates. Looks like Brendan's going to try blitz teams with pace and power aided with the finesse of Coutinho.

One thing is for sure this season - to compete with us you're going to have to be young and fit as f**k. Penalties galore this season I reckon!

A hand injury is preventing Moreno from signing the contract. Everything agreed but just waiting on the signature to finalise the deal. Expect to have it done before deadline day...2018

We've seen they've done all the stuff - photos and that jazz - they just won't announce it til tomorrow. Probably the staff they want for the website and that shizzle had gone home.

With Lovren and Manquillo's showing last weekend and now adding Moreno...really pumped about this years defense. Whether Sahko or Skrtel get the start along Lovren or Johnson if he starts at rb for a bit...this unit is fast and is gonna get after people. Really excited
