This guy isn’t developing at the moment to me. Just not prepared to sacrifice himself to my eyes.

If he had 4 years remaining on his contract, I'd bite Juventus' hand off to take him but it will be frustrating to lose him on a free.

He is like an articulated lorry in midfield. Slow on the ball, slow on the turn and lazy in the tackle. He breathes life into teams unr pressure against us by giving them air with stupid fouls that allow them to regain their shape.

Has more bad games than good ones so f**k him, let him go on the free!

Except when he plays the #6 he has another player standing right next to him within arms length...when henderson is in the role everybody is bombing forward and he is back there with the 2 cb's and zero support.

You don't rate him fine..but Can actually is impulsive and does stupid things back there...unneeded fouling...you think henderson is slow where he takes two touches before firing it off?...hell Can take half a dozen has a think about it and then does absolutely nothing.

Can is best at majestically bombing forward 30 yards ...and looking fantastic doing it...unfortunately after the run normally nothing is done with the ball.

Can has talent but to me he is the ultimate motd type player....but only 1-2 a year.

We don't spend the money anyway so why are we bothered when he leaves on a free?

Only thing to think about here is quality and Can simply isn't good enough. Need to be going out and signing a proper midfielder (along with Keita obviously).

Well, exactly. There are quite a few players I wouldn't mind if they left but we can't be left short footed in the meantime because we can't trust the owners to get the job done in terms of new personnel.

Might be in his best interest to play well since it is Word Cup year and looking to make the German squad. I been disappointed with him I always expected him to make the jump fro squad player to a key player in the starting XI but never seems to happen. We are going to be leaning on him a bit either rotating in the mid-field or having to play CB when needed (especially if we don't buy one over the winter transfer period)

The lad would be brilliant if he did things two touches earlier. Not even joking. He would be fantastic.

Infuriates to the max this pre-madonna how many touches of the ball does he want to have, twice at 3-3 he did well to win the ball and attack the Arsenal defence. All it needed was 1 or 2 touches and play the ball through. Does he does he F**k! 3,4,5,6,7,8 touches later the chance has gone and he runs back down the field to put a bit more brill cream on!

He's just way too slow both in his choices he makes and when he attempts to run with the ball. So F***ing infuriating.

I'll probably be one of the very, very few, but I thought he had a good game, particularly defensively.

Lots of good tackles, interceptions, pressing Arsenal players who misplaced tons of passes.

Positionally not always solid, but he did well overall. Lovely assist for Firmino's goal too.

Could've done better on the two (?) occassions he got forward with the ball late on in the game, but he looked dead on his feet to me at that point which didn't help with his decision making which has always been a tad bit slower.

hes go good strength and drives forward well....buuuuut, he takes far to many touches and runs out of steam too.
