From a team in the last 4 and currently set for final of the Champions League, he is showing massive ambition to go and play in a weaker and slower league dominated by the same team year after year now. Yep, great career move, sure it’s not to do with that massive amount of money at all.

Juve are doing a typical Italian deal.  Horrible and no consideration for any party but themselves.  The theory of a successful negotiation is a win-win, meaning both parties gain.   Not with the Italians, win-kill.  Can should realise that they are giving a bad name.  But so far it seems that they haven't bullied him in signing. 

Could have helped us out in midfield and showed Roma what the Italian League is getting next season but na sits out with a bullshit back injury. F**k off Emre!

I don't understand the point here? Juve don't have to negotiate with ourselves, that's our own fault for letting him run down his contract. The negotiation is between Juve and the player, and if he goes there it's because he's happy with the terms offered so a win for both (and only) sides of that negotiation.

I can only see the point if you believe Can is faking the injury, in which case I must say I find that highly unlikely, we're talking about a Champions League semifinal and possibly final he could play, on top of this being a World Cup season and he still needs to fight for his place on a plane to Russia.

My point is it seems to me that Can wants to sort this out at the end of the season.  But Juve have been trying everything to get him to sign on that dotted line. Trying different tricks like we are walking a way after a week, 10 days and so on.  It is in the best interest for our club that he does any deal after the season is over, OK we don't have any power in the matter, but should it be respected.   The thing is though they should be respecting the position of Can with our fans. 


Diego I don't think the club really messed.  The way I've interpreted it that first season he was used as a utility player a defender manly wasn't really at the level required but was part of a very poor defence.  2nd Season was put in midfield he showed some signs but then in the third season we was it seems couldn't strike a deal and it has dragged on.  But some times it can get difficult if player make it difficult especially when the clock is ticking.

Regardless of my views on Emre the player - mixed by the way - why on earth would he feign injury and lock himself out of a quarter, semi and potentially a final in the biggest tourney in the world?

NO crime whatsoever.  But to me it seems that Can doesn't want to make his decision until the end of the season.   And they seem to be trying to force him.  They always play dirty tactics. 

So Klopp saying we find out Monday if he can start training again.

Would welcome him back at this point even for the extra body and option in midfield.
