What would they be worth today and now for your bollocking, where is the man who won a world cup medal in 1966,the great Roger Hunt.

It was a big competition to see who could grow the longest hair by the looks of it :D. Almost didn't recognise Molby.

I am just glad that I don't need a sticker book to remind me of how good Roger was, no fancy stuff he just consistently put the ball in the back of the net. Also Jimmy Greaves did not have a cat in hells chance of getting into the England team while Roger was around.

Well Rush mate you must of seen Roger Hunt play for us then, he transferred to Bolton in December 1969 for 31,000 quid. He retired in 1972.

Thought this thread might of been about up and coming World cup stars but it's a circle jerk about past players or something. I'm out for now.

Just in case anyone is wondering what a 'circle jerk' is (I had to look it up):

      circle jerk
      Web definitions

A circle jerk is a sexual practice in which a group of men or boys form a circle and masturbate themselves or each other. In the metaphorical sense, the term is used to refer to a "boring or time-wasting meeting or other event". ...

If you bothered to read the opening post you could hardly confuse those players with up and coming players.

In modern parlance it's now known as a 'savile' or a 'jimmy shimmy'.

Hey ok sorry, too far in the past for me, I didn't get it maybe.
      Just looking towards the future.

      Btw ^
A circle jerk isn't or doesn't need to mean a sexual practice.
For example it mostly consists of people sitting around in the office saying how great we all are.
so with past memories and teams we had it's like wow we were so great lets all get each other off. (that does sound and is sexual btw)
I contradicted myself but it's the concept I was talking about.
To be fair actually sorry, it's a free world and we have had a lot of great players

Wow i implanted a horrible image in your minds about circle jerk. Use it in life though regarding the right circumstance. I'm taking it back because it wasn't well used in this thread because it isn't my business to do so or pass judgement. So I do apologise, I was rude when this thread is in good fun.

Ha ha Molby.  Seems strangely familiar that it may have been one I collected - is that from 1986?

Yep - definitely rings a bell.

Unfortunately I've got one of those families that 'tidied away/took the tip' practically all of my childhood memories such as sticker albums! I'll be keeping all sorts of crap for my lad.
