      That was assault that.

Uruguay imploded here. Clueless tactically throughout.

Excellent performance by Costa Rica. Thoroughly deserved.

Talented player Campbell, knew he had a great season in Greece but even then looked better than expected. Could be useful to Arsenal next season.

Looked clueless without Suarez and resorted to hoofing it to Cavani; who did not look worth anywhere near the money that was paid for him because of those tactics.

This is great, so now we need England to lose vs Italy and Costa Rica and Uruguay to lose to Italy, then we'll have 7 of our players rested and ready for next season!!!

Loving the World Cup so far. Differently to South Africa, it has started with some quality games and many goals. 4 years ago, most initial games were boring draws with a few 0-0. This year, we haven't had any 0-0 so far, which is great, with a few incredible results already!

Yeah, South Africa was sh*t. Loving this so far and it seems what games I have seen so far have been the most entertaining ones. I turned the Uruguay game on at half time which seems like splendid timing.

Where's Hansen so far on the BBC? Haven't seen him anywhere and would have thought he'd make an appearance tonight. I thought he was retiring after the World Cup?

      Goals after first six matches:

      World Cup 2010: 8.

      World Cup 2014: 22

It does have a different feel about it.

Brasil needs to embrace the vuvuzela, that will cut this free for all attitude for scoring goals.

But daft having the Caxirola banned!

Yes he's supposed to be retiring after the world cup. Odd.

He's on a list I have of BBC staff who are going to come to my accreditation centre to get their accreditations for the World Cup. In my list, I have Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker, Rio Ferdinand, Danny Murphy, Thierry Henry, Clarence Seedorf, Neil Lennon and Alan Hansen.

Out of all those guys, only Shearer and Murphy have already come here. I'd love to meet Hansen, hopefully he'll come here soon.

Manaus had some issues with the pitch but it's a beautiful stadium. One of my favorite venues of the World Cup.
