I suppose anything is possible, if it were me I would loan him for the whole season with the option for us to recall him at any point.

I was thinking -- is it possible the loan back to Lille could only be for six months? Like, could we get Origi in January?

It's a contract, basically anything is possible. If we want him to play every game with clown makeup on we could put it in there. Just up to all parties involved agreeing to it.

But really yes that is possible. Pretty sure a player can come back to the parent club at any time as long as it's agreed upon beforehand otherwise they'll have to pay a termination fee to get out of the contract.

Like I said before though, it has to be agreed upon beforehand and I feel that will be the toughest part in these negotiations, because they seem to want him for the full year.

Star saying he's going no where:

That said it looks like a misconception on their part (they are a comic after all) because he's supposed to be getting loaned back to them is he not?

Just  look at some of the other stories and you'll see why posting that here is complete waste of yours and other people's time

Gold Star - Huyton. Failing that.. Parkgate chippy.

I thought Brendan only wanted players that themselves 'wanted' to come here? Seems a bit of a gamble does this, forking out for someone I suspect they're rather hoping will turn out to be the next Lakaku or Benteke.

Divock Origi has told Liverpool he wants to join them and could also travel to Boston for a medical later this week.

A snippet from Mediahuis, quotes from his dad.

"The deal isn't done yet. Liverpool is still the most concrete option. There's another team that shows interest. We want to take a decision soon. On Monday, Divock is expected back at for their first training session. We would like to have everything wrapped before that day."

      Its in Sky as well

A big decision for a young lad. For his sake I hope his Daddy isn't just the Kenyan version of Paul Ince.  8)

@efcstuff No doubt. 100% Lukaku. I expect #LFC-target Divock Origi (19) to be better than Lukaku.

      Excellent!
Signings with the promise of this fella are what it's all about for me. We are looking to the future while getting in players in their prime too. One of the bright sparks at the WC, pity we can't have him this year but it's part of the deal.
I can't help but be happy the way things are headed.
