I really wanted him to stay. But Benfica only had 50% of his economic rights and had to sell him. When a player of Benfica is sold, I always want him go to Liverpool. So it was with Ramires, Di Maria, Coentrao, Witsel, Matic, Garay, Oblak, Rodrigo ... finally happened with Markovic.

Something about his legs are bloody mesmerizing. Can see a touch of Ronaldo in the way he runs (Cristiano), like taking that extra step compared to others so his feet are always near the ball when he needs it and for 20 y/o he seems to shrug off a challenge well. Sterling + Him on either side will be a counter attack from heaven.

Excited by this one, can't wait to see what he can do in our red shirt.

I agree Luke, a lot of people upset because we aren't signing world beaters, but better than that are signing young guys that could very well be ready to become world beaters. This guy is what....22? Great to have young exciting players like this in your squad.

Just turned 20 in March FL so about the same age as Cou when he arrived.
