True but Richarliason is also a very good forward, in fact Everton really should be better than they are, they have pretty good group of players, just need a better manager.
Not so sure they're any good at all to be honest, and from conversation with my long suffering blue of a dad (yes I know, poor guy) he'd probably agree.
They've spent badly, and to see that you only have to ask how many of their signings in recent years have been out and out successes. Considering most have cost £20m+, the only one we both agreed on being a real success is Lucas Digne, who's a pretty decent attacking left back, and Richarlison, who's clearly a good player. Sigurdsson is inconsistent considering the £50m he cost. Pickford, as we all know very well, has quite a few calamities in his locker. Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun (
) cost £40m+ between them. Bolasie and Schneiderlin cost £40m+ again, Bolasie is now on loan in Portugal. Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes seem ok but not consistent either. They lost £12m+ on Davy Klaasen in a single season, and have now spent almost £80m on Alex Iwobi, Moise Kean and Gbamin. They're being horribly mismanaged top to bottom, and apologies if I seem a bit too sympathetic, it's only because I feel sorry for my dad.
Having looked over their signings just to confirm I think you've got to add Idrissa Gueye to the success group, he was a good player there and they made money on the sale to PSG to be fair.
And now I should apologise to Saint Divock for talking about the Blueshite in here too much.
