A monument was unveiled to mark 101 years since iconic Liverpool manager Bill Shankly was born.
Reds legends Alan Kennedy and Roy Evans were on hand to reveal the new metal sculpture to the world.
It is located in Mulkirk four miles from the Scottish mining village of Glenbuck where Shankly was born, although little remains of it now and the monument is designed to look like the trade union banners once flown at Anfield.
Jay McKenna, chairman of the Spirit of Shankly fans group said ''it really is fantastic he is being recognised still by the people where he comes from''.
