There was a clash between Stevie and Vargas just outside the box before the ball went out for the corner and the pair of them were going at the ref and each other.

He stopped the vt showing the QPR player waiting to take the corner with everyone on the edge of our 18yd box except Allen who was on the goal line.  Not one Liverpool player was watching play or looking at the ball, not even Allen and Migs who were both looking at and screaming at Stevie to get into position in front of the near post.

By the time he'd reacted the ball was in the net but everyone was out of position because of it.

If you get chance mate watch the analysis from both Carra and Neville, not just this bit but all of it.

I do actually try and catch their analysis Debs, some of the most insightful and least biased stuff I've seen from any English pundits.

Can't really comment on the corner in question until I watch it, but it is one of the first lessons in football that you learn never turn your back to the game, even when the ball is out of play so I would criticise them too. In Balotelli's case though I find it worse because you have to find that edge as a striker, you have to be that one step ahead of your defender so in doing so he was sacrificing all opportunity to do so.

It's a hard act to follow but watch Luis on any dead ball situation, he doesn't switch off for a single nanosecond, you want to give him an opportunity he'll take and any more that he can squeeze out of it. While you're out of form like Balo is he should be doing this at the very least rather than sulking around with his head dropping to the floor.

I was my local Club secretary many years ago mate, juniors and seniors and that's all you ever heard being shouted from the touchline.  Face up and man on, it's basic schoolboy stuff and they all should know better.

Again on the Balo incident, I agree he should be alert to everything but theres a picture floating around taken from behind the goal and apart from Glen, Raheem and I think Allen and Hendo who were all within a few feet of the ball, not one Liverpool player was looking at the ball.  They were all head down, shoulders down all looking forlorn and pissed off.

It's shocking really and I hope they all get a F***ing rocket tomorrow.

Berahino with a cracking finish puts the Baggies back in front. United's defending doesn't half make me feel better about ours, it's pathetic.

Berahino is terrific. What a finish.

Got nothing from his midfield all game.

West Brom started playing well again when I had a go at them.  2-2 probably a fair result actually.

2-0 West Ham!! What a game this is. End to end, crossbars, posts, amazing saves and finally a second goal.

Diafre Sakho has 6 in 6. And he looks unbelievable.

Wasn't anything special I don't think but he was in the right place at the right time to take advantage of a defensive error, something we need.

Actually thinking a Chelsea win would be best for us. Don't see us getting anywhere near the title race so taking as many points off the Scum would be our biggest advantage.

Anyone else thinking Maureen will go easy on them today so as not to shatter what bit of confidence they may have ahead of the derby?
