Really does seem very happy to have signed for us. Has he ever been like this when signing for a team before? It's like he feels he is finally somewhere he belongs.

I think age has a lot to do with it.  It seems like even the most crazy, immature footballers start to settle down around the age of 25.  Balo is 24, so he is right about that age when he starts acting less like a boy and more like a man.  Hopefully his fiance can help to keep him in check and he can settle into life in Liverpool and feel the love and support he seemingly never had growing up in Italy.

Posting all the right pictures on his Instagram, seems excited and eager to settle here.

Hope he translates his positivity on Instagram into goals and performances on the pitch.

He loves his song as well.

Apparently has had some sort of dust up in a friendly against Wolves today and got subbed off.

Sturridge sent off to a scan for an injury and Mario Balotelli supposedly kicking someone in the head.

This has been a brilliant hour or two.

I don't think he kicked anyone in that head. From what I've seen that was from a tweet gone awry from LFCTS...he's paying for it now too, getting thoroughly abused for tweeting it (or implying it).

      Load of bollocks.
Couple of images of him clashing with the keeper, as they both went for the ball.
      He was subbed off afterwards.

      Nothing story.

This is the only picture I could find. But if he kicked a player in the head, being it a friendly or not, he would have been sent off. So don't worry!

Out of order, gives great updates. He's clarified what he meant, people should just back off and appreciate the reasons why they were following him in the first place.

Nothing story other than Mario getting his first goal, well in Balo.

Think it was a 1-0 win with Lallana scoring mate.

Good that Mario got some game time though.

      Oh really?!

I'd heard it was 2-0 and Balo/Borini with the goals. Can find sources saying both, the sources claiming 1-0 (Dailymail) seem to also be running with the controversy side of it, so I doubt they actually saw the game.

Actually now I've done more digging I really don't know the score!

      2-0 to them
      2-0 to us
      1-0 to us
      4-1 to us
      2-1 to us

      Good luck! :D

The only definite thing that seems to have been confirmed is that Balo didn't kick anyone, good lad!

He split up with his Fanny. What an idiot!

However now that she's single, i'm buying a ticket to England/Italy/Belgium or wherever she is. I may have a chance.

      http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2014/09/05/wolves-embroiled-in-mario-balotelli-storm/

Here's the link Brian that tells it like it happened.

In spite of the story informing that Balotelli was in the clear the BBC commented in their football gossip:

Mario Balotelli was accused of stamping on an opponent during a behind closed doors game between Wolves and Liverpool. (Express & Star)

Neglecting to add of course the accusation was completely groundless as stated in the very papers they selectively quote.
      Manc media at it's worst.

      Dear oh dear.

To be fair if you read the link it does say that neither player was on the ground after the tackle which makes the stamp suggestion ridiculous, the report also says absolutely no action was taken against Balotelli.
You'd never think so from the BBC tittle tattle.
