United has to lose 2/3 and we have to win all 3 to get top 4.

Unfortunately and realistically, I don't see that happening!

I think us winning all 3 is the problem there.

You know, if the players hadn't decided to coast it after the double loss to United and Arsenal, we'd be in the top four with United losing three-straight. Simply no reason to not get the full 9 points from West Brom, Hull and QPR.

We HAVE to win our remaining games whilst hoping Utd get one win or three draws at best which is highly unlikely as I think their remaining games are all home(?)

At least we still have something to play for in this match, hope the players have enough self belief.

Just about any team in the league can beat any other on a given day.


I actually have a feeling we are going to beat them. In fact, I think we are going to finish with 3 wins...so it will likely come down to how the Mancs handle the pressure.

negative if we can beat chelsea and palace we would still need utd to lose and draw, but the fact is we have to beat Chelsea at their place after they are crowned champs then play palace who we all hate anyway

If by some miracle we beat chavski, top 4 is back on definately.

Realistically we may draw with them and win last 2 games, so pick up 7 points.

I can see the mancs drawing at wknd & losing to the Arsenal, then it's down to last day. They could easily lose or draw that, they are missing rooney and toilet brush heed big time.

I cant see it without having my LFC hat on though, we dont tend to turn up against Chelsea and we struggle against any other team bar spurs at the moment.
