lambert and lallana combining well.Great time to score another early goal second half and we can go on to destroy them

Lambert is a problem as is Sterling both under performing.

We have a lead, let's not lose it by taking our foot of the gas and continuing to play them.

Great goal by Lallana his feet were magical, him and Moreno seem to link well too. Moreno is a player for sure, hard working and always looking to attack.

That goal alone may justify his fee if we can use it to kick on from here.

Lallana is so good! I wish we could find at least 2 other Lallanas for this team.

It's easy to see why the boss likes him. Brilliant player under pressure, great technique to keep the ball and make things happen. Very good goal too.

This has been Hodgson-esque. No imagination, creativity and when all else fails just hoof it forward. Disappointed in everyone today except that man Lallana.

Favourite player to watch last season outside of Liverpool, been my favourite today. Only one likely to do something and he produces that brilliant bit of play.

Lallana and Henderson are both wonderful players, both give everything when they play, two top players to have in your team and complement each other greatly I think, midfield three of those two and Gerrard could be amazing with quality in front of them.

Nice goal by Lallana and a nice one-two with Lambert to create the space for the shot. 

MOTM already for me,   Lallana, not because he scored a magnificent goal, but because he was the best in red for those 46 mins, nearly all chances he was involved
 Lambert  -still a bit slow, a big difference from last season's ricky
  I would go with Borini (if not Balotelli) for ricky

Sterling needs to work on his first touch. If he continues like this, I'd like to see Borini on.

I feel Lambert will get better, he's just nervous and making silly mistakes, but not playing poor, I like him more than Balo at the moment.

We need to use Coutinho more and shift the ball quicker too, finally, it's nice to see Henderson in a more attacking role!

Yeah everyone saying good play between Lambert and Lallana.

Lambert passed it to Lallana, who passed it to Henderson who passed it back to him and boom goal.

I actually think we've played pretty well considering. WBA are absolutely flying (for them) right now and are full of confidence, we on the other hand are completely devoid of any rhythm at all. Given all of that we're having to guts it out, it's a bit of a scrap and my guess is there'll only be one goal in it if we do win. We're doing it though, we've got ourselves a good goal, we ain't defending bad, Mignolet seems to have sorted himself a go to method on crosses (punch everything) and I like our little adjustment of dropping Coutinho in deeper. He isn't really doing what's required yet, but he will.

If we can just grind this one out, there maybe better performances ahead.   

Our boys are clearly low on confidence - and that is what our team really needs... The way we play is all about swagger and ability - lets hope that restores a bit.

I expect a difficult 45 now, but get another and we should see this through - from there I think we will see a totally different side, I would even go as far to say that if we get a second we will start to look very good...

In fairness Lambert was involved in the build up as he dropped in on the diagonal and gave it to Lallana.

Jees, I wish he'd drop Sterling. But there again he'd only be replaced by Markovic And as for Coutinho - least said soonest mended...hopefully. Suso doesn't even get a look in again.
