bonus if the other game finished 0-0, or even better 1-0 to Ludo

This team needs a big Band-Aid to get through to the transfer window.

Neville getting worked up in saying how we should have kept Suarez, didn't expect that from him.

To be honest it doesn't matter if we kept or lost Suarez in my eyes. The important thing for me was to replace him with a player of similar traits. Not 2 big lumps who couldn't be further from his traits.

The strikers we have now have destroyed our system from last year. We had players with pace and intelligence pulling defenders everywhere... Now we have a big man up top just walking around like he is shopping in Tesco.

They aren't from Spain though is all I meant.

She went to uni there and her family moved over

Yes, sorry just wanted to clarify that Barcelona is now their home and has been for some time.

      We have good players.

      They are not game changers

They are not playing with any kind of synergy

      The defence is in tatters

Balotelli needs to be paired upfront with another striker. He is brilliant. He has good touches but not the type to run up and down.

Brendan needs to look at his coaching staff.

No strikers, no defence, apart from that I thought we did o.k.

Goals change games and Ronaldo's changed this one. Pity we had no one to change it in our favour when we were holding our own.

Oh well. It was painful watching that. Can't believe we're just a mere shadow of last season. But there you go. Onwards and upwards...

To be honest, I think we need more than a band- aid, we need a crutch and a wheelchair. Absolutely gutted!

miserable night. i actually thought we did ok in the second half, albeit they massively took their foot off the pedal and let us have the ball. felt almost like they were giving their defence a training session.

where da F**k did our fast flowing passing and moving from last year go? has nothing to do with losing suarez, we still have sterling, cout and hendo, llalana ain't no slouch but we have looked slow and lethargic all season...it don't feel right.

some players, no need to name names, but some, need to start showing why they're wearing the shirt in the first place...if they can't, just f***k right off.

...DEFENCE DEFENCE F***ING DEFENCE! SORT IT OUT U SH**TERS!

At least Ludo Razdg beat Basle, we're still in this. Only positive from the whole evening.

he was SOLD for the money end of story as soon as the teeth went in he was off.I wouldn't argue that it was planned but if we wanted him to stay we could have worked something out.Its all irrelevant now anyway he has gone and we are fu**ed without him.

We got let off. They took their foot off the gas so much in the 2nd half it really was far, far, far too easy for them.

I thought we'd get beat 3 or 4 nil but in truth that could have been many more if they went for it.

Sure we could have scored a couple but this game was over by half-time.

Brendan playing both Balotelli and Johnson was disappointing and our lack of any defence idea is beyond embarrassing now.

Ludogorets beat Basel at least we can dream but we all surely know we're not going very far in this competition.

100% drop Lovren From now on.

Balo not even on the bench for me. Rodgers has to stand firm and tell these players they ain't cutting the mustard and maybe they'll do a Hendo: work hard in training, get a small chance and take it.

They stopped playing at 3-0 that could have been painful and it will be in Madrid.

It's been a long long time since I last felt we had a strong defense.

Lovren is horrible, Skrtel has been for some time, and Johnson is just Johnson...

Suarez may have loved to move close to his wife's family and play for Barca. But the decision to leave is not unconnected with our stance after the World Cup bite incident.

Even the commentators mentioned it in passing.
