Wow, hope they're installing seat belts too.

Grass gone, seats gone.

It seems odd from this image, that the old and new stands are very close, and the back of the old stand marries up to the new one, but it looks like a two tear stand.

Can't wait for the roof to come off.

Definitely got to be the press box. Middle of the top tier must be the commentary gantry. Hope it's easier to get to than the current one.

That said it looks a doddle compared to Goodison where you have to clamber over the roof to get down into the commentary boxes!

Glad I did the old tour a couple of times, looks like a hell of a lot is changing within the arteries of the main stand. About twenty years ago I went in a big suite/function room within the centenary stand, am I right in thinking it was called the Bill Shankly suite or does my memory deceive me?

Oh and who made me a forum Matt Busby, i'll be having words old chaps ....

Well he did play for us I think over a hundred games .

He did indeed play for us and the Liverpool chairman just after the second world war reccomended him to Manure for the managers job.Looking back now that was one big mistake Matt was too good for Manure though there was not the animosity around in those days.

Nope, unless direct transport can be provided such as rail links we cannot. As anything above 60k seats requires that.

It feels like only yesterday that they were getting rid of the car park behind the stand. Can't believe it's going to be this season when we see it being opened. It's going to be a thing of beauty.

Anybody have any theories as to why the front of the top of the new stand hasn't been covered in certain areas yet?
