      I'd certainly stay away.

Ever since his long term injury he has been awful and seems to have lost some of the spark he had in his breakout season.

Undoubtedly talented but like Mario Balotelli, you have to question his attitude and application on the pitch. No thanks - not when the likes of Shaqiri and Konoplyanka are still floating around as being available.

We don't need a winger, an overrated winger we don't need either.

I quite like this lad to be honest and see him very much in the same vein as Coutinho - a proper footballer.

He's got a lot going for him skill, game smarts and temperament wise and he can play anywhere in a front three but has just had a run of bad luck [broken foot, in particular] which knocked him back. If there's a chance that the kid (he's only 22) can get back to anywhere near full fitness and have confidence in his foot, he'll be a top player.

Do we take that chance? Well I would.

Two years ago would have said yes but in an awful Milan team he is struggling badly

      This.

He and De Sciglio were amazing then. Now (i admittedly don't watch them as much) not so much.

Maybe that [apart from his injury, of course] is why he is struggling (scored two against Real, in a friendly the other night btw) mate?

I honestly see shades of the Coutinho scenario here.  F**k knows where he'll end up come January but someone will be getting a very good player when he moves, in my opinion.

Said it in another thread about another player, we have enough attacking midfielders and enough liabilities in the squad already.

Aye you are probably right Mags but...

That 'fact' wouldn't stop me signing Marco Reus & James Rodriguez, if I had the chance, so... I'm not sure if I totally agree that having enough attacking midfielders is really a valid excuse.

"Is he better than what we already have?"...  If 'Yes' - go for it. If 'No' - leave it. ;)

Very much a balloteli type player. Bags of ability and potential, woeful footballing brain and attitude.

Oh Christ I'd bite my right arm off for Reus haha. I think liability is the key phrase when it comes to this transfer
