An awful keeper who is keeping his pocket lined from his world cup performance.

Was a keeper for a French team that got relegated or close to relegation and can't even get into the Malaga squad!

Why would we want a keeper of that quality to be anything other than 2nd maybe 3rd choice like that Doni bloke was....

But yet I bet you have never seen him play other than in the World Cup and just saying that because of the the situation he is in at Malaga. If he was lining his pockets then he would have had bigger and better offers than Malaga. The reason I say I doubt you have watched him is because you don't even know if the team he was at in France actually got relegated or not.

Also good players can get relegated. If Dortmund go down does that then mean the likes of Reus aren't good enough? Football is a team game.

There's also a pretty decent keeper that is keeping him out of the Malaga starting 11 in Kameni.

Living in the USA i have seen Ochoa play a lot on the Mexican national team vs the USA, and vs other countries, and I have been impressed with him. I think if we can get him on a bargain he is a step up from Mignolet.

Bringing Kirkland back would be a step up from Migs.

You are having a laugh. Ochoa isn't better than Jones.

Meh, I'd say they are pretty much about even.  Ochoa is a better shot stopper.  Jones' distribution is probably better.

That said.  No freaking way would I want to see us sign Ochoa.

One game does not a good goalie make. He wasn't even a regular starter for Mexico this year unless I'm mistake.

He wasn't. Any good form he had trailed off the instant he left club America. He's not even the best goalkeeper in CONCACAF.

People questioned Sturridge's ability, and Coutinho's. Now look at them.

If Ochoa was to sign then christ almighty give the guy a chance, surely has to be some sort of improvement on the mess of keepers we have at the moment.
