He is an established player and been linked with lot of big clubs, and we know how these things usually end up like.

I've never seen this guy play, but the question probably is whether we'll get outbid and outmanoeuvred by Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, or all three. Still, when we don't get any of these much vaunted types and end up with someone cheaper/not half as good, at least we can say we "tried" to sign big money and established players. Can't we?

Now this is a signing to get excited about.

As good as Pjanic is, I prefer we priorities in a GK, DM & forward before we look at anything else.

Milner would be seen as a marquee signing for FSG, "we can compete with Man City, as proven by our acquisition of their squad player"
