Hogging is part of his game as he's a dribbler. It's his decision making that I find is his weak point, however, he'll improve by playing games and gaining experience
I think playing him deeper and more centrally will allow him to be more creative and make better decisions than if he played higher up the pitch. I feel when Sterling plays higher up the pitch, he has the pressure of scoring, whereas having a striker in front, I think there's less pressure to score thus allowing him to create and have more freedom.
It's one of them; I think Sterling has been given a license to be ball greedy this season, he's a great talent but sometimes when a pivotal player is out, you get to see more players shine because they aren't relying (or have been told to by the manager) on one player.
It happens when Gerrard doesn't play or hasn't played in the past, we've won in style and the likes of Henderson has been a boss on the pitch.
I really don't think we should build a team to have Sterling as the Luis Suarez or whatever, he is a cog, play maker, simple as.
