Hardly our best player ever.

Only one answer for me, Steven Gerrard, never had the luxury of playing in any great sides (so far) yet look at his haul of medals.

Ste Gerrard will feature one day when we talk about legends, but you could certainly almost add D. Hamann and S.Hyypia that list too

As for me if were gonna talk legends K. Dalglish (player and manager) I. Rush, J. Molby  J. Barnes, G. Souness (just player)

also honourable mention to Barney Rubble - scored in two european cup finals, gave me his autograph when i was a kid about 1983 and i met him last year not long after istanbul in Huyton attending a footie five-a-side comp and he's just dead sound!

If we're talking legends there is a long list to pick from Souness, Hansen, Keegan, Fowler & Rush but the guy that stands out from them all is King Kenny.

Man was a genius on the pitch and for me has to be our best player to date.; Stevie G could end up joining that list if he keeps going the way he has been these past few seasons.

Modern day Liverpool legends make John Arne Riise spring to mind, the mans a belter haha. Ste Gerrard is already a legend, but he'll still do more to further his legend status   Then theres Sami Hyypia, Gary McCallister and of course  no-one has mentioned, Jamie Carragher!

King Kenny won the league and cup not only as a player but as a Manager of two different teams in two different leagues. Kenny also has a Euro champions medal Not saying Stevie G is not great but theres no comparison with Dalglish...yet

Has to be Gerrard. All the others mentioned have excelled in their positions but Gerrard excels wherever he plays and he's played virtually all over the park.

My favorite all time player is the great King Kenny Dalglish.  I have had the opportunity to meet him on one occasion (it really changed my life...whole 'nother post) and he was one of the most gracious and appreciative professional I have ever met.

My favorite players right now are Robbie Fowler and Steven Gerrard.
Too hard to choose one.  Both are great servants of the club.

King Kenny is CURRENTLY the best ever reds player BUT there is 1 man who is quite possibly ready to take his place and when Stevies glittering carrer finally  comes to an end he WILL go down as Liverpools greatest ever no question about inmy opinion.
