That was a cracking atmosphere tonight. That's what every home game should be like.

For me that was the best we have played this season in the second half. Really got up a head of steam and thought we looked fantastic . Great performance and unlucky not to win .

I think the bench against West Ham at the end of the month is the best we can hope for regarding Sturridge.

Barring a couple of sloppy lay offs Coutinho was MAGIC. If he could shoot, he would literally be the best player in the league.

He counteracts the obvious with the barmy. It's his way of dealing with things. In his head he must be thinking that Liverpool exposed too much, something that other teams will be observing.

Cahill in particular is the weak link. If opposition teams pluck that string enough times then the whole thing will unravel. Harry Kane did it a couple of weeks back and Sterling did so tonight - two very different types of attacking players.

I agree. Markovic worked tirelessly tonight once more. His ability to cover is phenomenal but also his ability to knock the ball on and create a gulf of space down the right is sensational. Would like to see other players around react more to these particular moments in play. A relentless effort from the young Serbian once again in defence and attack.

Everyone put in a shift tonight, which was great to see. Our quality seems to get better each game, but we cant finish.

Will find himself playing wing back for many a year at his rate. Love the odd Can burst forward too. They both link up so well and always look for Hendo or Lucas in those tight situations which release us, instead of just taking the easy option and heading backwards.

Anyone see Sterling playing left wing back when Studge comes back with Lallana and Couts off him? Wowsa this team and its attacking prowess...

Great game - shame we didn't win, and on another night it could have been 3 - 1 easily...

Lukas gets my Man of the Match for us, think he played a great game - especially when you look at the opposition. He made a fair few tackles - was first to the second ball all night, pressed and mopped up their attacks. He also won countless headers that needed to be won! On top of that he has started going forward quite a bit.
