I think 2  0 would be a great result for the Reds, especially with away goals counting double, if the two sides are level, overall. It always seems a travesty to go out on this rule.

I saw pictures of them training at Anfield today posted on Daily Mail so not sure how they could be stuck at airport.

High tempo start needed here, and hopefully an early goal to settle the nerves. Regardless of their league position we should be beating most teams at home, and I will be slightly disappointed in anything less than a 2 goal lead to take into the 2nd leg.

It is a pity that we only started playing the way we are now after it was too late in the CL, but I also think that this comp is a good proving ground for the way we are now playing against European opposition.

Why would we agree to delaying a game and mix up our own schedule for games and  training because THEIR fans can't get here? No chance
