Liverpool v. Blackburn...Seems good???

Just wanted to see everyone's thoughts on our draw for the FA cup quarter finals...Given some of the teams in, I think we drew a pretty good team to get to London...Thoughts???

Blackburn at home can't complain with that and hopefully there's a couple sent off from each side after 2 legs when the Mancs play Arse, would be Perfect!

Couldn't be happier could we? The mancs and gooners face off, we avoid tricky away ties to places like West Brom and Bradford. Even Reading might have fancied us having dumped us out of the cup a few seasons back and Villa have had a little shot in the arm with Sherwood gong in there (plus they are a bit of bogie side). So all in all, home draw, Championship oppo, have to be happy with that.

I really fancy an LFC - mancs final I really do.

Nice draw, but so to were Bolton and that went too a tricky away leg replay so the task is simple; beat the team in front of us on the day and move on to the semi final.

Not arsed that that happens to be at Wembley because that shouldn't be the case anyway.

Agree on all accounts lads! Hopefully we are recovered from some injuries, Stevie and Sterling, Sturridge should be back to form, I really like our chances on this one, even if we are away from home.

I am just so anxious knowing that we could send Stevie out in style...what an emotional match that would be for everyone. Just thinking about it I get goosebumps!!

I dont really know that much about him mate, but he looked a proper goalscorer when I watched him and his stats in the lower leagues were amazing. I thought it was a matter of time until he was playing in the EPL (plus, he's F***ing legendary on FM!). I dont know what happened to him though but I think this season Blackburn's main goalscorer is Gestede.

7th of March according to BBC.

Nothing will be easy for us, need to show them respect, but have a plan to destroy them too.

No complaints whatsoever ... must not underestimate Blackburn but must not also fear them. We are playing at home, so we must bully them. Gooners against scums, I have my lollipops standby.

Don't think this needs it's own thread it's fairly obvious a home draw against Blackburn was about the best draw possible.

That being said I still expect it to be a tough game as all games are at this stage of the competition.

We've found it difficult to play against teams like that in the past. An away tie might have suited us better with the pressure on the home team to come and have a go at us.

Good draw.Blackburn are in 9th position in championship with a 3-6-7 away score with 25 conceded goal so this shouldnt be a tough game,but who knows.I just hope we wont get complacent and we will enter this match seriously.

Rhodes didn't play in the Swansea or Stoke FA Cup Wins. Josh King and Gestede were fantastic against Stoke and will give us problems unless we handle them properly.

Blackburn are at the same stage in the competition as us. I would'nt take anything for granted.
Show them respect like we usually do and we'll overcome them.  It won't be straightforward though.

Always have to be happy with a home tie. Hopefully Arsenal can turn the mancs over as well

Barnsley at home the other year was a great draw, so was Northampton in the League Cup, so was our CL Group.
