Timbers time. Very excited for this season!

EDIT: Also must note we have a second LA team back in the league after the shitshow that was Chivas USA for a few years. LAFC seem to have gone for the urban vibe with their advertising so will be interesting to see how they go. I was watching a Liverpool game at a bar in Pasadena (the 4-3 season opening win against Arsenal last year) and there was a bunch of United fans there all wearing LAFC caps already, and they were absolute cock heads the entire time. Needless to say, I'm not gonna be unhappy if they're a dumpster fire - but also need teams like that to do well for the league as a whole, unfortunately. Not sure how much more expansion I want either.

Urban vibe? you mean they want the old chivas fans! I hate the expansion franchise, fake rivalry sh*te that goes on,we've not played a game but we really hate(insert team).Meanwhile the NASL has taken it's ball and gone home,http://www.espn.com/soccer/north-american-soccer-league/story/3400079/nasl-cancels-complete-2018-season-after-court-ruling.It was pretty horrible,i watched a few games on BEIN sports last year, can see why it wasn't working.

Toronto FC lost to the Crew 2-0 but I think the guys are looking ahead to Tigers mid-week in the CCL though if they played like they have the 2nd legs vs Rapids and vs Crew they will get spanked

I’ve had lots of great times at Red Bull Arena.

Granted a bunch of them have been due to my brother in law suggesting that we go to the game after we had been tailgating all day and then going into the Rutgers football game.

I watch the games when they are on.  The football is crap but at least it’s better than watching the Kardashian’s or some sh*t like that.

Toronto FC lost their second MLS game 1-0 to Montreal after coming away with big result mid-week vs Tigres to move on to the sem-finals of the CCL.

Yeah it is even tough watching games on tv when they play in a football stadium with tons of empty seats. Reminds me of the old MLS days where a lot of the games were like that.

What a player what an impact.

Wish he never put on a scum jersey though.

It will be good for the league if Zlatan can keep scoring highlight goals, funny as much as the clubs focus in on signing young South American players it big names that really give MLS more coverage.

Toronto FC had a good result beating Real Salt Lake 3-1 on Friday then winning last night in the CONCACAF Champions League 3-1 vs Club America.

Better/more publicity for the second team in the Boston area than the Revolution get.

The Timbers seem to have not let us fans know the memo that they're doing a throwback season to the early MLS years of ridiculous and unimaginable ineptitude following fleeting moments of hope.

Fernando Torres supposed to be signing for Chicago in the summer or so it said during commentary last night.

I personally still think Rooney could give Everton another season yet, the DC United deal was all part of the falling out with Fat Sam.

He is joining the worst side in the MLS in the last couple of years so I guess he can only help the squad though I would hope he will have better impact than last couple of big name Englishmen who came over.
