Should print up 3000 of these and make posters of them and get the supporters to hold them up in the KOP for Stevie's last game.

told ya brendan dont attract players LVG and UTD do, i dont think money was the issue as we have the cash its the simple fact that europe players want to go play for a big name manager and in the CL.

until we win something under Brendand and get back into CL and stay there we wont get reccognised names, he was not a player we needed but would have improved us massivly. i think that other portugesie play who was leaked was to try and soften the blow.

Hmm... No need for another "winger" then - noted Brendan.  >:D

And how many goals did those wingers score ffs? And since when is Lallana a winger. So we aren't going to buy any wingers then this summer? Oh well..

Memphis Depay: Man United 'forced' into signing by PSG interest
Manchester United were "forced" to sign PSV Eindhoven forward Memphis Depay early because of interest from French champions Paris St-Germain.
Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal said the club wanted to wait until the summer to bring in the 21-year-old Dutch winger.
But after announcing a deal in the region of 拢25-30m, Van Gaal said: "I have been forced to sign him.
"I had to handle it otherwise he would have signed for PSG," he added.
Depay, who has scored 21 goals as PSV won this season's Dutch title , has signed a contract believed to keep him at the club until 2019.
He will join in June, subject to a medical.

If true, wish we had this urgency to get our targets, the ones we have ever had a chance with anyway.

      It's all good.

We will spend F**k all over the Summer, Brenden will hail Origi as our marque "world class potential" striker signing. When we can't score for peanuts again next season and are sitting mid table come Christmas Brenden will get the sack for another young manager with "potential" and the FSG merry go round will spin on.

Brendan has said that we were never interested in Delay, as we have four wingers already, and have other priorities. I can only assume he means a Striker is his priority then. Danny Ings it is then!

Tony Barrett has said we were definitely interested in Depay.

      Farcical is an understatement mate.
Ian Ayre was head hunted by Hicks & Gillette in 2007 and as posted previously is doing the same sh*t job now as he was then.
FSG liked some aspect of the sabotage from within job he was doing for the wreckers and kept him on, a petition to remove his appointees therefore is far more appropriate.
That petition would stand about as much chance of succeeding, immaterial anyway on account of FSG finding another talking head to replace Ayre.

Don't think he needs sacked, just removed from the transfer committee.

The man who both promoted and then gave him a role on the committee needs 'sacked' [by "sacked" I mean - the skin kicked off his ball-bag]

      * a Liverpool manager (any Liverpool manager)  who 'signs' then keeps playing a "sh*te" player is called all F***ing sorts and attempts are made to hound him out.

      Yet...   :-\

Who knows. Somehow Rodgers managed to make us look more like a bunch of idiots. Reports here in the Netherlands are that our story is total bullshit and we really wanted him badly.

Yes, it's sh*te but it would be better if they just admitted we lost out on another target and explained why. This nonsense makes our club look even worse.

Hello all, from The Netherlands here. Why does my favorite team outside Holland nevers signs the best players? Always the third or fourth best players, never the best. Depay for sure is one of the best, or is the best player of our league. I do not understand. In this case i do understand. Depay is selfish here (cause he is that good in this league), but in your league he wont be the best and Van Gaal will be harsh on him, so there he will listnen. So coming back to my question, so much money there, but selden champions. How come?
