I see the BBC are reporting the fee of Ā£29 million as having been agreed. That's it in the bag for me (in terms of the fee). The beeb sort say fool all until their sure. Happy happy days, I didn't know they had it in em!

I don't for one minute think we will be in for a player like Bacca on top of this though. I think it's more likely we rely on Ings, Origi, Balotteli and Studge for the season ahead. Hope I'm wrong on Balotteli. Least we won't be in for frickin Benteke!
From 18mil asked by Hoffenhaim to 29mil offered by Ayre. We are fucken loaded, and clever.

How do we know that , it's all speculation and maybe currency loss in translation . There could have been add ons asked for and maybe the club decided " F**k the add ons heres an extra 10 mil " if this signing goes through then what's the worry if we're showing ambition .

Utd apparently agreed a Ā£13.5m deal with him.

Shows that you, the media and anyone outside of the clubs know F**k all until a deal is actually struck. So relax ya tits about being mooched out of more money.

If he signs then as long as he proves to be worth the purchase, I don't care how much he costs

Impressive...but probably not real. I'd be weary of those adverts as they use "special effects" that would make George Lucas blush. I think Nike did something similar with Roger Federer aceing a can off someone's head....until it was revealed it was all computer trickery. But that's adverts for you - like that Land Rover "driving" up a dam wall.

      Yep.

Moaning on here about us not getting top quality players, myself included, then when we actually seem close to signing one there is still moaning.

I really don't get it at times on here.

@jas0nmcbride They're only reporting the money due to Hoffenheim. He's third party owned.
