 I love these stats. It shows that Firmino is redefining his position and making it his own. Keep it up.

I give up trying to work out what his position is. He’s a goal scorer, goal creator, workhorse and a tackling maestro. He’s completely redefined the role of a CF and it’s criminal that he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.
I don’t think there is a player I’d want to swap him with in world football, his work rate and what he brings to the team and the way we play is second to none.
Salah will get player of the season and rightly so, but Bobby has been just as influential IMO. Lucky to have them both.
There was a point when a few comparisons were being made with him and Suarez, a lot of people completely shot that down and looking back it was doing bit of an injustice to Bobby because now, in terms of goals and assists, Bobby is pretty much hitting the same figures for the season. Both were once labelled as not out and out goal scorers but both have delivered. Hopefully Bobby can hit the 30 mark and I’m confident he’s only going to get better next season.

Honestly mate, I never worry about Firmino. He is, in my opinion, our most technically gifted player by far and right up there in world football. I think we just take it as a given that he will turn in a 9/10 performance.

The assist for Salah’s goal sums him up for me - the composure he shows and timing of his pass; took a few glances up to gauge Salah’s run and then released the ball at the right moment with a perfect weight of pass.

I’ve said it before, if you substitute Firmino for any other striker in world football, Salah is lucky if he scores half the amount he has this season. Firmino’s selflessnes and ability to drop off, dragging defenders here, there and everywhere and leaving space in behind allows Salah to reap the rewards. His scoring contribution is not half bad in its own right either.

It does not matter if he is on the radar or under it, he would not be sold unless he became a distraction like Coutinho that is detrimental to the team. So as long as he continues to be a first class citizen the way he has, he won't be going anywhere.

In terms of just goals, forgetting assists. He is on 27, Salah 43 and Mane 18(?). Why the hell am I seeing the odd thing creep up from a few people and Luis Garcia of all people too, saying we could do with signing a 25 goal a season striker to take the strain off Bobby?!

Madness. He’s proven all doubters wrong about whether he can play that position and still it’s creeping to the surface a bit.

I don’t think there is a striker in the world that would match the kind of impact he’s having, whilst slotting in seamlessly with Salah and Mane.

His credit should be for the part he played in Mo's second goal, excellent footwork in keeping the ball and knowing exactly when to play the ball and to be fair what a F***ing pass it was too.

Setting up that second he was sublime.

Firmino is everything.

He is absolutely phenomenal. Salah may be taking all the plaudits but without Firmino there is no Salah phenomenon.

Fantastic player, we should offer him a new contract. Let alone his goals and assists, the effort he puts in when he plays is tremendous, even if he has an off day and doesn't score, you still can't say anything bad aboud the lad, the way he harrasses defenders, a nightmare to play against.

Credit to Mo Salah, but for me 1st name on the team sheet.
