Who here is in school/college/university?

For F**k's sake.

Got up at 7am for my first lecture at 9am - which I was too late for.

Now my 12pm lecture has been cancelled due to the lecturer being ill.

I have nothing until 3pm.

So basically I came in at 7am for a 3pm seminar...

I know how ya feel, though haven't had to wait that long before. I woke up at 6am once and got ready to go, only to read an email from my lecturer that my 8am was cancelled due to her being ill. Next one wasn't until 1pm. Tried to sleep a bit, but having already woken it was weird sleep and i just felt off track all day. When routine is messed with i always feel just fu**ed up for the rest of the day.

I got up at 7 and went for a run.

I don't know if this counts as only studying part time but taking the NVQ business & admin L2 course at Joseph Priestley.

Today.

Lecture at 9am - 10am.

Then nothing until 4pm!

At least my 5pm lecture has been cancelled though.

I'd hate having lectures early in the day and then late afternoon, would rather it be over and done with by morning/mid day.

I'm not at Uni. Was due to go back up to Liverpool and go to Uni there but because my dad had a heart attack things changed. He was in England when it happened and isn't flying home until the new year but I'm going to be going back to Malta with him so would have been leaving mid way through the first year at Uni.

Got a place sorted to go next year instead but i don't know where i'm going to be living, whether i will stay in Malta or move back to Liverpool.

He's basically fine now thanks fella, just not ready to fly yet.

Half Scouse and half Maltese. My mum and her side of the family are Scouse and my dad and his side of the family are Maltese, I was born in Liverpool though.

Got a midterm tomorrow that im really struggling with. Subject matter we covered is so broad its hard to remember it all, and im looking at the immense list of terms on the study guide and thinking, i know none of that Gonna be a long night i think.

I am in school sitting my GCSE's.

The midterm i was worried about failing, i ended up getting 71/92, or a 77.something% score! Not anything to light up the world, but considering the difficulty and the struggle i was having with it im really glad! Woohoo!

Did a group presentation last week - that was fine, quite straight forward in terms of what we were asked to do.

I've now got an assignment to do though - we've been given a sheet with the three tasks on, but I just don't know how to go about writing them! I've spoken to a lot of people about it, and it seems no-one knows quite what their answers should be and what is being looked for. We haven't even had any lectures/seminars discussing how to write the assignment either.

What's worse - it's in for the 10th December. Apparently we don't even get it back after that to make alterations. That's it.

Slightly worried about it actually.

Not sure to be honest seeing as there's thousands of people that could potentially be going up to them.

Maybe in the seminar's they'll go through some of it nearer to the hand in so we can make last minute changes.

Should be reet though I think.

Keep chipping away at them, mate. I passed up the opportunity of going to University by arsing around in college and playing pool at a pub round the corner. Great choice. Now I'm 31 and forking out shitloads on OU courses!
I don't want to sound like your parents but get your head down and do the work now, you won't regret it later.
