      You’re a bit of a melt aren’t you?

“No one rated him at Bayern” who’s no one? Thomas Tuchel? The best man manager in European football? Oh great.

“Class players dont need time to adjust’, yeah ok mate. Just like KDB and Salah didn’t need time to adjust at Chelsea. sh*t players! Just like Vini, Rodrygo and Benzema didn’t need time to adjust at Madrid? sh*t players!!

      Are you thick?

Are you using Rodrygo and Vini as examples? Lmao, they were class when they were first signed. Same way KDB and Salah didn’t need to adjust when they signed for Man City and Liverpool respectively. Class players don’t need 2 to 3 seasons to “adjust”.

It was the second time both KDB and Salah played in the Prem

Remember they were both at Chelsea early in their career

Both went out on loan and then sold before coming back

KDB was 21 when he first went to Chelsea

      Salah was 22

On the whole been a bit disappointed with him if I'm honest (after some good early performances) but I think he does deserve a full pre-season and a chance to see whether his Dutch compatriot can help him develop and mature. I'm sure we will sign a new midfielder to replace Thiago anyway and hopefully he's a good one as we do need it.

Class when they first signed? The F**k are you on about, they were even being outed by their own teammates and went from scoring 4-5 goals as bit part players to 20 goals as regulars, meaning they needed time to settle......so stop pretending like you have a clue.

Oh so it's "2 to 3 seasons to adjust" now is it, yes why not move the goalposts because you fail to understand your own quibble.

      F**k off yer bellend.

Someone never watched RM games ever

Now resorting to ad  hominem cause you can’t have a decent discussion.

Like I said, Gravenberch is not good enough.

Ian Wright was playing Sunday league football at 21. He turned out alright. Kids got a lot of upside. KDB struggled at first like some said. Now he's the best CM over the past 5 years. Grav needs time and opportunity

Class players don’t need time to adjust, just look at Coutinho when we first signed him.

Just not true though is it. Looking at just us - Fabinho, Robertson, Henderson, Firmino - all needed time to settle and become vital parts of a team that won everything.

Looking back at other players - I remember Arsenal signing Pires and him being sh*te for his first season before he became one of the best players in the  league. Modric was voted the worst signing in La Liga after his first year in Madrid and he ended up being the best midfielder in the world at his peak.

I'm not saying Gravenberch will reach those levels but he deserves another season to show us what he can do.

For me...all the signs so far are he's a very ordinary footballer...at best. It's true that a fair number of players have struggled in their early years before going on to reach the top level, but it's equally true even more players who struggle don't rise through the ranks and don't sustain their their early promise or potential....of course we don't tend to remember these players as they drop down the ranks into obscurity....which is why it's easier to make a list of those who go on to make it, rather than a list of those who just fade away and vanish.
I expect he'll get a fair chance next season to prove he's good enough.

      Pretty much agree with this.

It could be he needs a season to settle but at the moment I just don't see a top level midfielder there. And he's one I struggle to see where exactly he fits.

      Hopefully I'm  wrong.
