I'm not sure if it's only me, I did a quick google search on this and it seems it is an issue, because I never got random unrelated results.
Inaudible or mumbling dialogue, I'm good with accents and can usually decipher exotic dialects (in English), without a problem, whether it be the sultry southern drawl of the USA or the caveman grunts from Manchester.
What's going on with the films and TV shows now from the good ol' US of A? They're mumbling lines and don't do a retake, I think I need subtitles sometimes. Honestly this isn't about not understanding accents, it's about mumbling lines like a lazy f**ker or loud music overpowering subtle lines trying to be delivered.
It's no biggie but why is this a thing?
Please tell me I'm not the only one.
