Do we know motivation is the problem? I mean they all look focused to me, but they may appear to be playing pretty tight...and who can blame them when they know their boss is on the hot seat. Part of it's on us (and the crowd).

Maybe if the crowd at Anfield would take their hands out from under their arses and test out their voices a bit and make some noise the players might feel that energy and get something out of this. I thought the point of the Kop was to "pull" goals in. The only people I hear are the away supporters and surprise...they away team is the one with more fight right now.

Works both ways. Players have to get the crowd going too. They need to make the crowd excited. Slow, boring, side and back passing turgid footy is not the necessary ingredient to enchant the masses...

If we finish better this scoreline is a whole lot different so that's why I'm not completely buying into this being all on the players not having enough "fire".

If Origi and Lallana finish their chances better we'd up at least 3-1 right now.

According to Brendan these must all be old pro's because non of them have run through any walls tonight but lots of them have gone around it.

We scored an early goal after some good play, the crowd made noise for about 2 minutes and then has been silent since then. It's ridiculous.

maybe when the use the stats to look at a player they should try the slap in the face test. Slap them in the face and if the they puch you back twice as hard sign them if they dont walk away.We have no solid charachters out there tonight

Half our players would look away and pretend it didn't happen.

Maybe it's arrogance, but I always trust myself more than anyone I've ever worked for ;D

I've never thought I couldn't do the job better than the guy above me. Like I said, arrogance I suppose but at the same time...aren't that what these professional athletes supposed to be?  Cocky and assured?

      You probably could.

Strong leaders are hard to find and why they're so well paid. Nothing wrong with being cocky and arrogant about how you work as long as you can back it up and I've no reason to suspect you can't. I do though believe that a strong leader could get a bit more out of you than you currently deliver, no matter how professional you are.

Anyway, straying way off topic and probably a reflection of how dull this game has become.

I'm actually pretty confident that we'll handle them. This is a weak side tonight. We'll have our strongest healthy 11 and we'll turn them over.

No they haven't, not served on a platter like we have. Your stream is bad if you think it's been close in chances.

ever seen old toilet? their fans have always been shitt, quiet as a funeral and all that you know, yet they dominated premier league for so long. support is vital, i agree but it cant be used to throw the blame on supporters when we know our manager and our players are just ner perofrming.

And the Anfield crowd make the most noise of the night booing the final whistle. So they can get loud.
