      Pre Match : Liverpool v Southampton, Oct 25, 4:15pm

The games are coming thick and fast which is just as well to put right the disappointment of not putting Rubin away last night.

Plenty of positives to take from the match, just need to make sure our decision making is correct in the final third. We really need to start picking up some 3 pointers and have a feeling this is the game

Looks like Sturridge won't be fit, will Coutinho be benched to sort his head out?

      From the available players I would go with ;

                                                           Migs

                               Clyne        Skrtel             Sakho          Moreno

                                                   Can           Lucas

                                     Milner            Firmino          Lallana

                                                         Benteke

Can't see many changes for this one:

      Mignolet

      Clyne
      Skrtel
      Sakho
      Moreno

      Lucas
      Emre Can

      Milner
      Coutinho
      Lallana

      Benteke

Subs: Bogdan; Lovren, Toure; Allen; Ibe; Firmino, Origi.

      2-0 to us!

Tough game. We're workmanlike, and to be honest, reckon these could beat us. Hope to F**k I'm wrong. A win would be brilliant and could REALLY be doing with it. So ... COYR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      From the available players I would go with ;

                                                           Migs

                               Clyne        Skrtel             Sakho          Moreno

                                                   Can           Lucas

                                     Milner            Firmino          Lallana

                                                         Benteke
Hmm, good shout HScRed, although I'd maybe swap Lallana and Milner as most of Southampton's threat is from crosses and Moreno might need Milner's help cutting them out more than Clyne will.  I also think some of Milner's best attacking work has been on the left, for us and MCFC, while Lallana's has been on the right.

Yep, Lucas is first name on the sheet for me, he's in great form and we badly need his presence and game reading.

I'd keep Coutinho in, although I agree he seems out of sorts, and keep Firmino as an impact sub option.  I just think he needs feeding in gradually.

                                                         Benteke

I think that's as good a team as we can put out at the moment, Coutinho needs a rest or a kick up the arse and Benteke and Firmino are our best hope of a goal.

I think this might be the game that we will finally get a win although it may only be 1-0, as in typical Liverpool style we start to get the wins and go on a run against the harder sides after failing miserably against the poorer ones.

Time to turn these draws into wins.

      Hard fought 2-1 to us.

Get firmino & Big Ben on from the start.

I'd go for a different line up my self, were at home struggling for goals, I'd go two up top.

                                      Mignolet

      Clyne               Skrtel            Sakho           Moreno

                                     Lucas

                  Can                           Milner

                                Coutinho

No way is Kloppo gonna drop Lallana.

      Nor should he.

Not saying he will, just how I'd line up, I've got more confidence in Coutinho finding the strikers if they show good movement than I have Lallana is all.

Given Milner is so average I would swap him out of your line up for Lallana.

We would have lots of energy in midfield and a more attacking impetus.

When you look at some of the crappy teams above us in the table it really is starting to look like a must win game. There is a CL spot up for grabs if we can just get a run of wins.

No pressure Jürgen but we really need a win mate.

I know the lad hasn't quite been on it recently but I'm gobsmacked to see a few of you have Firmino (who has looked lightweight every time he has played thus far) ahead of the Brazilian, it's bonkers in my opinion. I'd like to see Lallana stay in the 10 shirt with Coutinho on that left hand side.
