      Draw specialists
      Oct 26, 2015 11:08:35 am
Is this the most draws in such a short space of time LFC have ever had ?
But this is now 9 draws in all comps  :f_wah:

If not it defo feels like it

I remember when we nearly won the league with Rafa 2009, we had too many draws, that's what cost us the league title.

We have got to turn these draws into wins soon.

On Brightside still only 2 defeats.  :D

Didn't Jürgen have 15 draws in his first season at Dortmund?

Yes too many draws probably cost us the Title in '09 but we're not challenging for the Title now, we're trying to stop the rot and keep us in contention for European Qualification of some sort.

Of course we need to start converting them to wins but at least we aren't push overs any more.

We have also been conceding at more than a goal a game for the 3 full seasons with Brendan so we are looking more solid at present.
We havent won games because we havent had a forward playing who can score.

3 draws, no defeats, no pre season, injured players easing back in.

      Decent job if your asking.

Three draws against Tottenham, Rubin Kazan, and Southampton within about a week's span really is pretty decent at the least in my opinion. Those aren't easy sides to go against especially with the factors he's been faced with as you mentioned.

Spurs and Saints are decent results for sure but R Kazan's game, we should have won it.

YES we should. And we could have won all 3 games with a wee bit more luck and concentration.

Our performances have looked an improvement too.

There is no quick fix because of the state Rodgers has left the team in, we have 1 winger at the club for crying out loud and he's a nipper who is struggling at the moment. Klopp has his work cut out, no doubt about it but I have every confidence in him to turn it around because already he knows the squad isn't good enough and he isn't shying away from players playing crap. 2 consecutive games now he has hauled off our worst player on the day off at half time, Rodgers wouldn't have done that, especially to Joe Allen. He's not making up bullshit excuses and has said how the players don't have the right mentality at the moment.

One thing Klopp's arrival really has done though IMO is that it has massively emphasised just how badly £200mill has been spent over the last two summers. A lot of players in this team won't be at the club next summer and I have no doubts there are already a few of them that know they will be gone.

It's not often there are top quality players available in the winter window, we got lucky with Suarez, Sturridge and Coutinho but they weren't exactly world class names so it would be difficult to sign the top proven players that time of the season so I expect Klopp will wait until the summer before doing an over haul of players.

Klopp has a positive, winning mentality and is determined to turn this club around so like I say, with the improvements already, I have no concerns about Klopp at all.

3 draws is a solid start, and against mostly very good teams.

To be thrown in at the deep end in October with no time for preparation at a club with very high expectations is very very tough.

Draws are better than losses, we are steadily building the confidence, 2 months unbeaten is good, just need some win amongst the draws now.

Forest won the league with wins at home and draws away, and then 3 points for a win was introduced, and draws were no longer as valuable.  We have drawn too many games for too long now, but we do at least appear to be hard to beat.

I think winning, losing or drawing becomes a habbit. We need to start feeling what it's like to win again. Hope we progress in the cup and start to build some sort of momentum

Though I'd agree with that, I'd be delighted with a draw on Saturday against Chelski.
